We created a provocation in the Piazza area with pieces of trunks that were cut from one of our school trees.  We added paper of different sizes with markers. We asked the parents to write a word or a story of what they learned.    Writing our reflections as a community helps us digest the enormity of nature and what happened.  It reminds us of how important our values are; such as,  relationships, love, hope, faith, family, patience, and togetherness.   We are a school family!
